ABOUT US
The Logos Centre is administered by Logos Associates, a family business committed to providing professional, friendly and personal care. We are non-judgmental in our approach and would like the opportunity to help you to evolve in an atmosphere of peace, love and harmony to enable you to make your journey through life one of joy. We are a non-denominational organisation and welcome all those seeking to improve their health and well-being.
The nutritional therapy offered by Logos Associates is managed by Sally Reeve (E.C.N.P.). Sally's career began in the mid-seventies with her work as a Research Assistant for I.C.I. at Alderley Park in Cheshire . She worked in the Central Toxicology Unit (Metabolism of Pesticides) and then in the Pharmacology Department (Central Nervous System Analgesics), after this moving on to the Genetic Toxicology Department (Chemical Carcinogenesis). Having left research to raise a family, Sally became interested in nutritional biochemistry as a result of her infant son's lactose intolerance.
After taking a diploma course in nutrition she worked for the charity The Kent Stress Centre, where she refined her skills as a nutritional therapist under the guidance of Frances Dixon B.Sc.
Sally joined the Register of Nutritional Therapists in 1990 and has subsequently taken their postgraduate course, the RNT Update and gained the qualification E.C.N.P. (European Collegiate of Nutritional Practitioners).
Sally has four children and a very “down to earth” attitude to life's challenges. With her business partner Marion Adams she has administered The Logos Centre for the past 12 years.
Marion Adams has been involved in various forms of healing for nearly 40 years and has also trained in Stress Management and Counselling. Marion has had many life and family experiences (she has six children and thirteen grandchildren) which enable her to bring compassion and understanding to her sessions, clients often say that Marion's degree of empathy is second to none, she also has a good sense of humour, and clients find her easy to talk to. Marion's main interest has always been to teach clients to heal themselves and so to avoid “therapist dependency”.
